Griffin brings over 20 years of experience in strategic communications and operations leadership consulting to executives, entrepreneurs and athletes within media, sport, health care, manufacturing, and service industries. Merging his backgrounds in engineering, network broadcasting media, learning and development and entrepreneurship; he specializes in the development of high-performance teams, cultures and brands.

Griffin is founding principal of The Cleveland Motor Media Group – a communications, PR and marketing firm where he designed and led communications and brand strategy initiatives for international automotive, motorcycle and event production brands. Much of his work was visible as an ESPN broadcast analyst and through his media production work with other national networks, Lowe’s Home Improvement and feature films including Captain America. He has served as Chief Operating Officer for Anidrio, S.A., Renovatio Kinetica, Genau Consulting and Music Media Machine.

From a professional development consulting position with Cleveland Clinic, he was recruited to Dallas to help rebuild Parkland Health and Hospital System’s Talent Management Division – specializing in executive development, media production, measurement & evaluation and organizational effectiveness. It was there that he was responsible for building the health care system’s learning media production division, which was immediately tested by producing the CDC’s most-trusted training material associated with frontline healthcare worker safety amid America’s 2014 Ebola crisis.

His expertise as a crisis communications consultant, media liaison and communications trainer has been sought by NASCAR and FIFA athletes, Red Bull, Continental and other global brands.

A US patent-holder with experience in R&D, product development life cycle, manufacturing, marketing, retail and entrepreneurship; Griffin supports technology and IT initiatives developing innovative products and services with an emphasis on sustainability and scaling. He is a regular presenter to John Carroll University and Hiram College Business and Entrepreneurship students.

Griffin’s Fenn College engineering degree is complimented by continuing education at Tulane University and credentials from AHRQ, WHO and FEMA. His board membership and development support partners include Habitat for Humanity and The Dave Thomas Foundation. A dynamic and highly sought public speaker, the Shaker Heights Hall of Fame inductee has keynoted and presented for organizations including Future Farmers of America, Society for Human Resource Management and The American Motorcycle Association.
